Games programmer, you should check out AIE http://www.aie.act.edu.au/ I think I might try and get into there, who knows hey.

i wanna do something in IT, probably security or software develop
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write it should be hard to understand.

Hmm... Four possible careers. I'm only a year 11 so it isn't as large an issue for me, but I've narrowed it down to:

Programming
IT Security (I'd love to be a white hat hacker. Get paid to see if you can break into systems)
Video Games (Design is what I'd be interested in. Working on how fun the game is rather than how pretty of how cool the physics are)
Pure Mathematics(The 'math types' thread may make you laugh with this, but I'd never encountered it before. Calculus is later this year.), but two brutal years of VCE could squash this.

lol, who here is going to go to MONASH but.. the monash in bundura or bendigo.. one of those 2.... lol.

Software engineering > electronics engineering > computer science > straight science > diploma of computer systems at tafe

Although if i don't get into one of the engineerings i might go straight to RMIT tafe then try to transfer to uni.

Monash > RMIT > Swinbourne IT > la trobe

Also considering the army gap year, but i might need to get fit first fear
