i try to open Python and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, same with the run module function
the error message " IDLE's subprocesss didn't make connection. Either IDLE can't start a subprocess or personal firewall software is blocking the connection." comes up, and i don't even have a fire wall, then 5 mins later i try it again and it works fine :S
anyone know how to fix it or why its happening?
it worked fine for the first 5 weeks now its doing it all the time

Can you be the one to judge it all?

Linux or windows?

Have you tried reinstalling?

Which version of python? 3.0 and 2.6 are the current ones, I think.

Got this on entering the error into google:

Quote (family guy)
This happens sometimes when you close IDLE while it's running a script. Check your running processes for anything mentioning Python. End the process that you find and it should open just fine, it's a common error that I have seen many times myself.

Post back if not solved.
