Yeah, change the shortcut to "My computer" and use "format c: /Q /autotest" in the batch file. Rather hilarious if you don't need the computer. That, or screenshot the desktop, move all the icons off screen, and leave it for a while. Or disable your laptops keypad biggrin

Linux forkbombs are so much better, the classic ":(){ :|:& };:" is possibly the most epic command ever typed.

So true.

At a school production rehearsal that's just been, I rigged up a mac someone had brought along so I could ssh into it via an ad-hoc wifi network. Made it start to talk to people as they passed. It's good fun, scaring people by getting a computer to greet them as they walk by.

I really need an OS that is text shell based, I feel this massive envy of ssh when I have to use vnc to connect to mah server. Its not so bad over a lan, but over a 128Kb connenction... Ouch.

I think the main problem I have had with learning linux is that it has two privilege levels that get used; can't-do-anything and can-destroy-pretty-much-everything-by-mistyping-a-letter. Although that warm glow you get when you realise that you have finally managed to reinstall x.org is fairly rewarding tongue

Yeah, I was trying to uninstall kernel modifications that I made to get my graphics card working properly and make it support 3d, fedora doesn't do it on a fresh install because they don't like the closed-source license of nvidias drivers.
